Antique Meerschaum & Amber African Womans Head Pipe & Original Case
WELL CARVED AFRICAN LADY MEERSCHAUM PIPE! With its original case, a well carved African lady is depicted beautifully with head dress and curls encircling her face. Original case carries a small interior tag with evidence of some ink markings that sadly, are illegible from age.
It does not appear to be smoked but this is not our area of expertise. The stem shows no usage marks. Case opens and closed well with expected minor age scuffing on the exterior with some minor loss.
Does not truly detract from display. Interior fabric lining exhibits color fade, but nothing unexpected for its age. Case measures about 4 & 1/2 wide at the base. Ask questions if you have them..
