The heat shields are a larger diameter than most other offerings on the market and the single-piece shields (especially on the rear pipe) are singular in their design and effectiveness. The added benefit is that the larger heat-shields will deflect more engine heat away from the rider, making it noticeably cooler for the rider and passenger The pipes were also designed to deliver optimal torque and power while increasing the stock bike's ride ability right in the sweet spot of the torque curve. The system consists of head pipes and heat shields and all of the mounting hardware needed to complete the installation of the made-in-the-U. The head pipes 1.75-inch diameter ensures the stock mufflers and most aftermarket mufflers will fit.
